The first “Training of the Trainers” stewardship course for 2017 was completed on 13 May with a graduation ceremony. 11 Trainers and 49 students who completed short courses received certificates. Reports of these trainers conducting training in their communities are already flowing in.
The next intake for the TOT course will be on 19 September 2017 and you don’t want to miss it! This four weeks residential course will help you become an excellent trainer and a person of influence in your community.
During the training you will be in class, visit local farmers, do practical work on the farm and go on field trips.
The field trips will include climbing Mulanje Mountain, Chisunga tea factory and a few small business enterprises.
At the successful completion of the course you will be rewarded with a certificate of accomplishment during a graduation ceremony.
The course will be presented at the Crown Ministry Centre in Chigumula, Blantyre. The center is 15km out of Blantyre City.The training center and dormitories are surrounded by demonstration gardens.
The daily program:
We will start every day with devotions at 6.30am and will end our classes at 4pm. There will be some days where there will be additional evening classes.
